I wanted my son to write like this but I can't love it the way it is. However, the concept is amazing and can still be used with your child with plenty of supervision. Let me start with what I like: 1. Four books. practice alphabet. practice numbers. Basic math practice. Funny drawings.2. Seven bar handle.3. Includes pen grip to aid in proper finger placement.4. Vanishing Ink. Really gone in 30 minutes. Sometimes a little less, but 30 minutes is a good reliable time frame.5. The numbers also include Chinese characters for the numbers below which I think is cool because I play mahjong with my kids and I love that it's included. Now, what I don't like: 1. A few typos and/or grammatical errors. I've outlined some of the most important and/or weirdest. This is definitely translated with a poor quality translation program. The ink won't linger, but if you write hard, you'll see dents in the paper where you wrote.3. Many letters/numbers are wrongly placed in the lines. It is important when trying to teach your child to write letters/numbers correctly.4. The number "5" is strange. Very strange. I have never seen a syllabus or program that teaches how to write the number five this way. All in all I'm not sure I'll get it again. The concept is amazing, the pen is great and the books are neat, but the books are so busy I'm giving it 3 stars out of 5. Hope that helps!
