Very VERY thin
So thin! They are difficult to use because your pen/pencil/marker/chalk will just push the stencil away. I wish I had read the reviews more carefully. I'm bringing them back and am looking for an easier to use, thicker set of templates. I gave an extra star because the shapes and sizes are exactly what I was looking for. Also, the bag that comes with it is too small to hold the stencils. It's almost impossible to get templates in and out of the bag. Serious? A quarter inch more will work. Even 1/8".
