I was using the style that….straw looking thing that sticks down and makes that annoying noise when the animal is using it. I never could find one that didn’t leak.So far this is the answer. I put it up just high enough off of the floor to help keep stuff like hay out of it and I make sure it’s tightened well and off we go to hydration land. Time will tell if it starts to perform poorly but I don’t see how it will. And for, what, $12? Even if it lasts three months I’ll just buy one every three…

Before I begin the review I want to mention I have a ferret nation model 182 cage.I got the two pack (blue and pink) for my two ferrets. They fit perfectly onto the cage and I'm extremely happy with these. I've been looking for auto water bowls for quite some time and am really happy with this purchase. Bought the two pack because my ferrets run out of water pretty fast and I feel better knowing they have a good supply of water. I have these attached directly to the cage door for easy cleaning.

Tbh, i could have done something wrong, but it doesn't seem to be automatic. you have to tip it to have water come out. basically as functional as if you took a regular bottle and a bowl.

We use these for our ferrets, and it works great! It doesn’t dispense too much water at once, and is really simple to use. I have noticed that it sometimes gets this pinkish film inside the cap, but it’s easy to wipe away during cleaning!

My rabbit loves this. He refused to drink from a regular small pet water bottle so when I bought this he took right to it! May be too noisy for some animals.

Works great for our hedgehog! We don’t have to listen to a water bottle ball all night from the old water bottle. The bottle on this drinking device also holds just enough.

Very weird. Always tips over, and once I didn’t notice and it LITERALLY SPROUTED MY HAMS FOOD! She had plants in her cage!

Ordered two of these and have the same problem with both of them. When unscrewing the bottle from the base the screw nozzle gets stuck into the base and I can’t get it off. Not worth the hassle. Buy something better than this one.

I'm using this for ferrets, as they weren't getting enough water with the dropper type with the silver tube and ball. They seem to enjoy using this so much more and are definitely drinking more water, more easily.Other species use: I also have sugar gliders I'm going get more of these for. But I'd add a perch or put it near bottom. Same if used for birds, though smaller ones, like parakeets, if you want them to be able to get in it a little.I'd say you can use this for rabbits, rats, hamsters…

Definitely would buy again. This is great because it attaches firmly to the cage. I don’t keep my bunnies in cages - so I actually got this for my dog. I put it on the gate where she sleeps so she can’t knock her water bowl over into her bedding at night - and it’s worked perfectly for over a year now. She is a 60 lb border collie/beagle/boxer mix. The water reservoir is small but it’s the perfect size for her to drink out of without spilling. I don’t know if I would use this as her full time…

It worked great for my guinea pigs the first day.then they figured out they could get it unclipped and drug it across their cage chewing it up by day 3 🤣🤦‍♀️

It is a little difficult to take apart to clean, but that might be because it is new. Make sure you have the water reservoir pushed all the way down or it won't press in the little thing to fill the water bowl. It took a little more force than I thought it would. All in all, it is a good watering device that allows you to refill the water without opening the cage!

Easy to pull out, fill up and slids right back in. Makes my morning routine a little easier. I use them for our bunnies but imagine they would work with other small animals. Put it this way. I have but other water feeders UT I love this one so much I bought a extra one just in case

We purchased this water bottle for our guiena pigs after purchasing two traditional water bottles that didn't work. This one, however, works great. My girls love it.

Product does not work. Put it in with my bunny over night and the bunny had no water by the morning. The water tray would not refill. Trying to find the box so I can return it.

Look no further this is the best water bottle .The bottle that holds the water has two slots and just make sure one of the slots is pointing out to the water feeder the animal actually uses. I put ice cubes in these , I have two now for 3 bunnies 2.5 pound to 4 pound bunnies and they all like them. No leaking at all like most of the nipple type of bottles. The water feeder slides out after you remove the water bottle itself for very easy clean without undoing the base !We love these !

I bought these because I already had one of the same design and we've liked it. Unfortunately these new ones present too big a challenge when removing the bottle and dish from the part that attaches to the cage. If I continued to use these my little would either get a heck of a scare as I fight to separate the pieces, or suffer with a slimy dish. I'd rather be out the $$ than punish him for my poor purchasing decision!

Ease of use.zero! I cant get the water to stay in it while trying to twist it on. No directions so thats how much they care about their customers.

Easy to clean and fill. Thanks for attention. Does not drip water unlike the ones with the spout.Easy for the baby bunny to use.
