No problem with the Canon EF 70-200/2.8 L (both mk I and mk II) for indoor sports in low light. AF is as fast as native, and when it's slower I don't notice it. Full-frame recording at 12 fps is very useful for action-packed photos. Shutter speeds of 1/1000 are easily achievable when the safe AUTO ISO is set to a maximum of 12800, keeping noise at bay compared to framing sensors.
