I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I don't think I say or do anything interesting at my main job. Regardless, I really didn't feel the need to connect a headset or camera to ANY of my computers when I wasn't actively using them for something. Well, that was until the advent of human malware in 2020. Since then, I've been attending multiple video conferences every day. Initially, I turned off my devices after EVERY meeting. Then I got too lazy and decided to buy a pair of USB extension cables/switches. It was almost perfect, the only real issue was that the switch is in the middle of a rather long cable. This is where the Walsunte USB 2.0 Hub Button Cradle with a 4-port hub comes into play. Separate power switch with LED lighting. Unlike built-in switches, Walsunte allowed me to use an "extra" port on my KVM, which is handy. Switches are easier to reach and there is visible peripheral activation feedback. Ideal! The only downside, if you can call it that, is that the hub is USB 2.0 only. But since the devices I use with it are slow anyway, it's perfect for me. recommended
