For more than two years I suffered from chronic pain from the right thigh to the calf as well as from plantar fasciitis. I recently decided to invest in some really good shoes. After much research I bought a Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21. I just took the dogs for what I thought was a leisurely one mile walk, but one of them decided he wanted to walk the whole distance. (I NEVER run, but he had so much fun that I let him lead the way. LOL.) I have literally ZERO pain in my back, hips, knees, calves or feet. You MUST try these shoes on.
