I'm really a fan of these socks. I find the colors too crazy, but they do the job. I've put them through multiple washes and none of the socks have lost their grip after each thorough inspection. My child wears them to kindergarten as she is not allowed to wear shoes in the room and I am told that because of the socks she never slips and her feet are always warm. I took the star off because there are a lot of threads protruding inside that I had to cut so they don't get wrapped around the child's fingers.
