This is not a bridge as such

This is not a bridge as such. The bridge requires me to take my wired printer and present it as a device to the Wi-Fi network. This is important for my application because other devices on my network could then send data to the printer for printing. This is how the bridge should be. But when this guide talks about a bridge, that's not what it means. This device connects to a Wi-Fi network and then connects the devices behind it to the new network. This would be fine if I just wanted to connect from the printer to the internet but nothing on my local network would see the printer (because it would be behind NAT). Even when I plugged it in, it couldn't see the Wi-Fi network in my house (within 5 feet of the router). The device also crashed. In the instruction manual, the font size is smaller than anything you've seen, even the bottom line of an ophthalmologist's eye chart. There are how-to videos online, but who has time for that. Another aspect of this device that causes concern is that I cringe when I plug it into my network and connect it to my computer as it is clearly a foreign device. It just seems like a huge IOT cybersecurity risk. This product does not meet my requirements. It's too late to go back to Revane, sigh, so I'm off to processing.
