These pins are awesome! They are very strong and their curve is perfect for sliding right through your hair. I've been looking for these studs for years and now I have a huge can of them! Some people in the reviews seem to be confusing studs with stealths. These are NOT invisible! I have two Stealths shown to the right of my first photo. They're just as thick as bobby pins, but the shape means you can use them in a variety of ways. Hairpins are for hairstyles and you insert them by wiggling them a bit so that when you slide them in you bring the hair a little closer to the scalp. Invisible clips are better for keeping loose hair in place. The needles I found in stores were awful and bent as soon as I touched them. Even the Goody brand was crap. It's not like this. The ends are well finished and covered with a small protective nylon ball to avoid scratching the scalp. The color is a bit dark for a chestnut - the hair is light brown - but you don't even see it so I won't complain. Just get silver if you have blonde hair. These pins are the real deal and you need them in your life!
