The product corresponds to the description. It's a very strong and durable plastic, but it doesn't look cheap. I thought it was heavier but still a good weight. I bought 3 - I will be using them for subtle lighting and to place our drink around the hot tub. The different colors match the colors in my hot tub. It is elegant, stylish and unusual, which is exactly what we aimed for. I also like the fact that one remote controls all the cubes, but you have to point the remote at different cubes if they aren't next to each other, but that's not a big deal. Each cube has a remote control. So if they are very scattered, just hold the remote next to the cube.
