Good hardware, not so good software
My monitor lasted less than a month before the screen went blank. Visiting the Samsung website was a waste of time. He had NO answers to my problem. In any case, I removed the Samsung "Magic Tune" software that came with the monitor as well as the driver I downloaded from Samsung's website. For unknown reasons, this software does not work with my Vista Gateway laptop. I finally solved the problem by making the new Samsung monitor my "primary" monitor. You need to go to Control Panel and go to Personalization to fix the monitor not working issue. NO help, I mean NO help from Samsung's so-called "customer support".
