This is a great device for those looking to use older hardware with their MacBook family. While we've moved away from the uniqueness of the new Mac ports, the reality is that there's still a lot of hardware, including recently released products, waiting for legacy USB and other ports. Small enough to throw in your travel bag, the device can carry your power so it might be the only thing you need to plug in at the office or at home. Whenever wired ethernet is available, I prefer to just use it because the WIFI can crash or freeze at the worst possible times (you know that conference call you sat on for 50 minutes only to just when, when it is your turn, choppy submission). This is a must have for any holdall or to keep on your desk and I highly recommend it.
