This was my first attempt at cross stitching, but I'm the type of person who can pick up almost any needlework project very quickly. Here's what I found. an extremely long time. I started the week before Thanksgiving and finished 3 days before Christmas. Actually, I only embroidered on the weekends. I tend to improvise more, having so many different tricks gave me some room for error. to correct the image or return to the error. There were many threads of all colors. I decided I didn't like the metallic stroke, so I just didn't cross stitch the areas I wanted more shimmer, just diagonally across the square - you don't have to do it that way. it also tends to be faster. This makes my whole snowy roof shimmer as well as my moon and not just a few fringes here and there. Wash the entire picture. My advice would be to either give the project even more time by buying some filament for the whole thing, or get a colored backing before you start. 3 stars for this misleading color scheme.
