Get Dead Cat For Winds still a good mic without it

I love this Rode mic the one I bought was a Rode VMGO Video Mic GO. I've used it on my Sony A7II, Nikon D5500 and occasionally on my laptops for vlogging. I used this mostly during a loud party e.g. B. if a DJ was invited to the party and played loud music. I don't want my audio bases to show up or go offline so that's what I got. It's the perfect size and performance for those who are on a budget but need a good microphone. I would still go for the smaller version for travel vlogs with mirrorless cameras rather than heavier rigs. Pros: - Helps get sound in front of the mic, not so much behind the mic. - Dead Cat (sold separately) - a good addition for those recording outdoors in windy conditions - high quality sound - Plugs and PlayCons: - the cable is short for large installations

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Minor issues
