Review on ๐ŸŒ€ VIVOSUN Air Circulator Fan: Powerful Wind Floor and Table Fan with Remote Control for Bedroom, Home, Dorm, and Office - ETL Certified by Negil Dunnigan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A bit pricey but does what the others do plus maybe an extra trick or two.

Overall, this is an excellent fan for efficiently circulating air in medium to large sized rooms. Pros: + Powerful enough to move air but not too "windy" due to various vertical-horizontal mood swings. + A remote control with all these innovative settings and power is basically a requirement, but you can access it from the control panel. + The timer function is practical. + For an unobtrusive approach in dark rooms, you can turn off the backlight of the status bar. Cons: - Small remote clip is a great idea but there is room for improvement, it falls off easily. Dropped at least 5 times and hopped and jumped the ground only when the remote was removed. My solution is to not use it at all and leave the remote lying around. So basically useless. Neutral: = It is significantly louder than average at higher speeds. Realize that being as big and functioning as well as him is almost inevitable. Mostly the sound of "air moving over the fan blades" at higher revs, the engine itself seems decently quiet. With the remote control, you can easily switch it for more delicate work. The benefit of this is that it certainly delivers quite a bit of white noise, which some of us find helpful in falling asleep. Update 04/13/2021: The fan has started to generate annoying vibrations/hum and whine, which is solely due to the front plastic vortex grille/lid being a bit loose. I quickly discovered that there was no obvious easy way to remove the lid (assuming it's for child safety, but there has to be a way without breaking it). Maybe there's a way in the manual that I couldn't find on the site to download, so I didn't really look into it. A QUICK FIX worked: Tear off a fingernail-sized corner of the white envelope, gently squeeze both sides of the fan to open the seam a bit, tuck the corner of the envelope into the opening with one hand, squeeze to make it disappear into the seam. No more buzzing or invisibility. Close to dropping a star for these issues but keeping 5 for overall functionality and cool (literally) aesthetics. Probably the best fan I've ever had in this weight/power class.
