Review on Puredown Lightweight Natural Blanket Egyptian by Cheryl Williams

Updated 1/21/2017 Have been sleeping with this duvet for a while. Comfort is excellent, but I've noticed that the feathers/down are beginning to fly. It was fine at first, but now every morning I make my bed and shake the covers I can see the air filled with feathers. Luckily we use it in a case for extra protection. Even balls of dust under the bed are 70% feathers. A little disappointing. I hope this eventually stops or at least doesn't get worse and render the duvet useless. I've had this duvet for over a week and sleep with it every night so I can now write about it objectively. First, great packaging. Came in a clear ziplock plastic bag. When folded, it takes up very little space, which is a big plus for a small New York apartment. I took it out of the box and spread it out on the bed. The fabric feels thick so I don't think we'll have any feathering/feathering issues. I have to say it fluffs up quite well, after unpacking it stays put for a while. We use it in our duvet cover and oddly enough, the more you sleep with it, the fluffier it gets. It's higher and softer now than the first night we used it. It makes a wonderful rustling sound, like a blanket, but it's much lighter and doesn't suffocate. I think this is the perfect bedspread for a 70 degree Fahrenheit bedroom. I've already changed the duvet cover and didn't notice how saggy it was on the inside. I was a bit concerned before purchasing as many other buyers complained about the shedding. I got the blue color, I noticed that most of the complaints came from the white and gray. Maybe they are made differently. I wouldn't know. In terms of size, 90"x90" is actually 86"x86". The satin finish is 2 inches on each side. And because it's only added for decorative purposes, it's unfilled and therefore very malleable. If you have a smaller duvet (like ours) it fits perfectly, with a satin edge that folds almost on its own. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase. The price is acceptable, the quality is still consistent.
