Description of Puredown Lightweight Natural Blanket Egyptian

Comfy Fabric: The soft down blanket is made of 100% cotton cover and filled with 75% Down and 25% Feather. The dark down in the white blanket is natural because down comes in white, gray, and black. If a blanket has no other different color, it maybe bleached. Unique Design: The cozy blanket is decorated with satin trim on the edges. The box-stitched keeps the filling from any sliding, clustering, and ensures the down filling spread over the entire surface of the blanket which makes the level of warmth and coziness is the same. Multiple Use: The lightweight blanket is the perfect option for changing seasons. It can provide a lighter cover option for the spring and summer while also add an extra layer of warmth in autumn and winter. Not to mention, blankets are a great way to add more style to your bed. Care Instruction: Gentle machine wash in cold water and tumble dry with low heat to maintain maximum performance. The down blanket will last for a long time if maintained properly. Responsibly Sourced: The down blankets are OEKO-TEX certified and the down and feather used in products have been certified to the RDS (Responsible Down Standard).

Very satisfied! for duvets and bedspreads

This duvet is great! It has a pleasant weight and feels cool against the skin, but keeps you warm. I was afraid to buy this blanket after reading some of the reviews but I didn't see or feel any feathers or smell. It's thick 300 thread count cotton so I really don't understand how anyone gets feathers all over the place unless they have a hole in their duvet. The seams and the material show that this is not a cheap blanket. Overall I am very satisfied and am planning to buy a second duvet for…

Pros
  • Excellent performance

Nice and light.: Bedding

I like it. This is just the ideal weight for those who sleep very hot. I sleep in the basement, the window is open, the fan is running. In Colorado. This blanket makes me feel comfortable at the temperature and I've had the best sleep over the past few months. If you're a cool sleeper, this isn't what you want unless you pair it with extra duvets. As for people complaining about feathers - I've seen a few but nothing excessive. It's a little harder outer stuff than me. imaginary. I hope it…

Summer Weight in Bedding

We love sleeping under down all year round. As I live in Georgia this might be an issue! By the time I found this duvet, I had the lightest duvet I could find. When summer came, we threw off our blankets and pulled them up all night until it got too hot. Then I would have to put my beloved to sleep until late autumn. It's now mid-August and with this duvet we snuggled under it all night. I don't think it will be enough for colder weather but that's what the blanket is for. We weren't pierced…

WAS WASHED IMMEDIATELY WITH NO FEATHERING

I read several reviews of this duvet which almost made me not buy it. I'm very glad I did. I've decided to wash it right away in case it falls apart in the wash and washes perfectly (except for a little wrinkled, but no problem). There are no feathers anywhere, including the dryer lint screen, and I didn't feel any feathers sticking out of the outer shell. The size is for a queen bed (could be a bit longer to accommodate thick mattresses) and it's very light. The only reason this isn't a solid…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Light and versatile

I needed a light blanket for the transitional period and this is perfect. It's a nice layer and works well on its own in warm weather or as a second blanket here in New England in the spring and fall. Two things to note: (1) It's a quilt, not a quilt, so it's pretty flat. I washed and dried it before using it and it's a little puffy but not puffy like a blanket. That's what I wanted, but if you're expecting a fluffy comforter, this isn't it. (2) There is a satin border on all edges, so it looks

Great comfortable duvet at a reasonable price

Updated 1/21/2017 Have been sleeping with this duvet for a while. Comfort is excellent, but I've noticed that the feathers/down are beginning to fly. It was fine at first, but now every morning I make my bed and shake the covers I can see the air filled with feathers. Luckily we use it in a case for extra protection. Even balls of dust under the bed are 70% feathers. A little disappointing. I hope this eventually stops or at least doesn't get worse and render the duvet useless. I've had this…
