Just bought the 2nd of these pads, the 1st lasted about 7 years. This is a great way to get water off the rack when I do my dishes by hand. I don't use the dishwasher that often because it's in an awkward place and I don't use that much dishes. Instead, I put it on the counter and let the dishes dry. It absorbs moisture very well, keeps the counter dry and has a drying loop. From time to time I wash and dry in the washing machine. In 7 years of constant use there hasn't been a single loose or unraveled thread etc. I replaced it as it lost some of the loft it started from. Worth the cheap price.
