Let me first say that I like the look of this keychain. Chrome accents feel comfortable. As for fitting my old transponder into the new key fob housing, I wouldn't say it was all that difficult. Only the motherboard had to be carefully pulled out of the old key fob so as not to damage it in any way. Then put it in a new keychain, press it until it clicks, and that's it. As for functionality, that's a different story. I say that because the stick buttons don't always make contact with the motherboard and therefore don't always work. Also when I plug it into my ignition it may not unlock my steering column and even turn on the ignition when it unlocks the steering column. So there are multiple times the key is inserted and removed back and forth, wiggles, wiggles and flips everything to set it on fire or flip it. Which I don't have to say, but will do right now, is completely annoying and time-consuming. Overall, I mean it's under $20, I wasn't expecting too much given a new keychain from the dealer for about $200-$300. That cost money, yes. Would I buy another one? Depends on how badly I need another keychain.
