Great update: graphics cards

I've been thinking about upgrading my GTX 750ti as I can't play some games on high settings and still get good fps. So I went shopping and waited to see what I wanted to buy. I'm glad I waited until they released this map. It's a great upgrade from what I had and I look forward to playing some more graphically intensive games with it. My computer is a 6 year old HP 800-60 and I was concerned if this card would fit and work well. I'm still using Windows 8.1 and this card had no problems installing and installing. My PSU is 600W. I first created a restore point, removed the old Nvidia drivers, then turned off the computer, then removed the old graphics card and installed the new one. Start the computer and then install the latest drivers from the Nvidia website. The card does not come with a driver CD, so you will need to download one from Nvidia or Zoltac. Make sure you download the correct driver for your operating system, e.g. B. Windows 10, 8, 8.1 or 7. I would also like to point out that the card is very quiet. No more fan noise than my old one, which was also very quiet. Also note that this card requires a 6-pin connector from your power supply. Most computers have additional 6-pin connectors from the power supply. I had 2 as well as a few 4 contacts. It doesn't just run on motherboard power.

Pros
  • boost clock: 1725 MHz; Memory frequency: 12 Gbps; recommended power supply: 350 W; Power consumption: 100W.
Cons
  • Not the best
