More money spent on mounting screws that are too short

The bracket looks solid. The one filter sock I was expecting came with a retainer and it fit. The mounting screws that came with the mount are 5/16" shorter. Finding new screws so I can securely install this mount will cost me more time and materials than the cost of the mount. After finding the right length thumbscrew I found them cheaper than the screws that came with it WTF It took half a day to do the job in 2 minutes.
