Review on TrailMax Original Pommel Western Endurance by Jeff Davidson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've been looking for a product like this for many years!

For several years I used an old fanny pack as a saddlebag. It worked well but wasn't easy to attach or detach from the saddle. A button-down pocket solves this problem. The only downside I have is that it only has one main compartment so I can't keep my phone separate from the vials of insecticide, sunscreen and sunglasses (in one case). So I cut off the outside pocket from my fanny pack that I no longer use and sewed it onto the handle on the front of this bag. Now it's perfect for my use! The clamp junction also allows it to be used on my mountain bike for storing the same items. Even without the extra pocket I sewed onto the front of this bag, the pocket is large enough to fit all 4 of those special items plus a compact camera (but that would be a bit cramped). I tried it and they all fit, but I was concerned about not scratching the phone while driving and it's difficult to get anything out with one hand. (Put your phone and camera in old socks to protect them if you don't plan on reaching them while driving.)
