A "good " breather cap could become a "great " breather cap if screws were used instead of rivets.
These van roof vent covers fit very well and replace the original covers. They arrived safe and sound exactly on the day they requested. The only thing I can advise the manufacturer is to screw the metal rod to the plastic cover with screws, just like the original covers. Using rivets allows the company to save pennies, but forces the installer to remove the screen and crank from inside the RV to install a new lift rod on the crank mechanism. This unnecessarily complicates the exchange and more than doubles the time it takes to complete the task.
