This stone set is quite good for the price. Make sure the stones are aligned before using them on the blade. I ended up trimming the edges of all the large stones to make sure the corners didn't roll or catch on the edge when sharpened. The main disadvantage is the need to soak before each use, while more expensive stones, ceramics or diamonds do not.
