*** I have updated my rating from 1 to 3 stars. I was expecting 4K support, but after looking at the product description, it doesn't claim 4K resolution as I wrongly assumed. As I noted earlier, external displays don't work at all with my MacBook Pro. USB and Ethernet worked correctly on all my laptops. 3 stars for "Your mileage may vary". I just got one from Revain and hooked it up to my Dell Inspiron 15." My two LG 4K displays were slow to recognize but eventually came to life. However, I couldn't get 4K resolution on either of them - 1920x 1080 was recommended but I was able to get a slightly higher resolution (24xx at 1800) which was strange.I updated the display drivers in the device but to no avail.I then tried this on my XPS 15 with the same results.I've Tried it with my MacBook Pro as well but no external displays were detected at all All three laptops work fine when directly connected in full 4K resolution I will be returning this product.
