I bought this and although it was very easy to install it didn't work. When I finally hooked up a real remote start "module" my BCM started making weird clicking noises. It completely wrecked my electrical system to the point where my machine would not do anything when plugged in. I unplugged everything and went back to standard wiring and boom everything worked fine. Well, except the "module" turned on my check engine light. It eventually went away after a few driving cycles. Would leave zero stars if that was an option.
