Nothing worth coming back for. Good price for what you get

Good budget option. I get a key detection error on the dashboard from time to time, but that doesn't stop me from driving. From time to time I have to restart the car immediately after getting in, even when using it properly (apply the brake first as soon as you open the driver's door.

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Only available in black

100% worth it, suitable for anti-theft

Works as described, installed on a 2018 QX60. Also bought an extra cellular line and it's plug and play too! Total installation time was about 20 minutes. Installation behind the dashboard. The hardest part was unplugging the wires from the BCM (small connectors and limited space). Contacted support to find the correct Cellular Add-on (DEI) protocol for this model.

  • GOLS certified

Great remote start

I was a little concerned about this work on my q50 2017 Premium. I'm so glad I have it, this remote starter is amazing. Click on her three times and she will start loving you. Installation wasn't too bad considering I'm not an expert, plug and play is true but these cables are difficult to remove due to the limited space available, but it is possible. I definitely recommend this item.

DO NOT BUY! Best among remote starters

I bought this and although it was very easy to install it didn't work. When I finally hooked up a real remote start "module" my BCM started making weird clicking noises. It completely wrecked my electrical system to the point where my machine would not do anything when plugged in. I unplugged everything and went back to standard wiring and boom everything worked fine. Well, except the "module" turned on my check engine light. It eventually went away after a few driving cycles. Would leave zero…

Works as advertised

You won't know how tight it is until you try. I was lying face down in the passenger seat trying to tie the wires together so they would fit. Works as advertised. The only downside is that it takes a few seconds to start up after you press the lock button a third time (I didn't buy the extended range version, so my fob's range is the same as the standard distance). This works best when you're sitting and relaxing and close enough to your key fob to start your car before you head out on a hot…

DO NOT BUY, LOSS OF PERFORMANCE WHILE DRIVING!

DO NOT buy this item. I installed it (easy) and haven't had any problems for months. One day a passenger accidentally walked in and when the door closed the car lost all power (dash, console, everything) and didn't even turn off until I waited about 10 minutes. , buttons and key fobs didn't work. I thought hmm weird not sure what it was. No check engine light, nothing. After restarting the machine, everything seemed fine. A week later it was raining and I was leaving friends at night and I had…

Semi easy installation and good order. Service

*Update: downgraded to 3 stars. It's been about a year since I installed this module and found that it messed with the rear door locks and interior lights. As I removed the kick bar to reveal the module, I pulled on the wires and the interior light began to flicker. The rear locks work again. I had to wiggle and tie them where they worked stably and put the skid plate back in place. No problems so far, except occasional glitches, e.g. B. the module sometimes doesn't recognize my key fob or the…

Updated 8th April 2021 - This module interfaces with the vehicle BCM -

. Pros: - Works well remotely with a regular key fob. - Convenient and nice to have. - Easy to "grab" in the car with a key fob. At about 15 mph or less, press the lock button on the fob 3 Sometimes switching the vehicle to anything other than 'drive' will disable the vehicle and you will lose power steering, brakes, etc. (keep this in mind if you have children or passengers who can play with the fob) - Sometimes the control panel fails and gives the wrong fob ID or the car doesn't even…

Pros

Cons
  • . Minor issues
