*Update: downgraded to 3 stars. It's been about a year since I installed this module and found that it messed with the rear door locks and interior lights. As I removed the kick bar to reveal the module, I pulled on the wires and the interior light began to flicker. The rear locks work again. I had to wiggle and tie them where they worked stably and put the skid plate back in place. No problems so far, except occasional glitches, e.g. B. the module sometimes doesn't recognize my key fob or the engine shuts off when I start it. The module is certainly not perfect, but not that bad for the money, which was $150 at the time of purchase. of this unit and I have to say the hardest part was removing some of the OEM connectors which is in no way a reflection of this kit. After that it was pretty easy. Mind you, I'm not a gangster, so I was a bit intimidated at first. One of the downsides was that it came with instructions for the wrong car. I emailed Start-X and the next day they sent me a PDF with the correct instructions. Customer service was friendly and concise. Once everything was connected, programming was very easy. I only needed two zip ties (which come with the removal tool) and everything fitted well. TL; The DROEM connectors were difficult to get out. The kit was easy to install. Customer service was good. Programming is easy. Make sure it includes the correct instructions. AC sometimes comes on at remote start. Apply the brakes for 3 seconds before driving off after the remote start. My next setup will be a flux capacitor.
