I had the opportunity to test the stauns in real situations. A few days ago we did a hard reset to 18psi (I know it's the default but we tried anyway and did a hard reset). theoretically very convenient. Since this was our first time using them I quickly checked the actual psi pressure with a digital gauge and all the tires were different psi pressures from 15 to 23. I reset them to 18 and tested them again on my friend's Jeep and it Looks like they'll be consistent at 19-20 for all tires this time. I will try to use this set again next weekend and will report on it in this review. I have just received a replacement set from Revain but if you look at the attached photos this is a new leather case with completely different lettering and color (it is not gold and the case itself is much darker not orange as advertised ), which begs the question: am I really getting an original Staun product or some kind of counterfeit? Update: 5 weeks old: I've just used a Stauns replacement (FYI I've emailed the retailers and they have confirmed that the original orange leather case is sometimes discolored as Stauns uses small local stores in Australia and they cannot reproduce the same color, offered to send me an orange case if I want it). This time I haven't touched them since they arrived, today I did my first bleed with this new set in all 4 options from 18 to 20psi (for the preset pressure standard 18) which is very good, a problem with all 4 - The black rubber washers you see inside almost fell off when I unscrewed them.
