This worked fine for my purposes. I used it to decorate my windows for my underwater party and I have plenty left. The roll wasn't wide enough to cover my windows with a sheet so you can see the seams at the overlap, but guests didn't mind. They still liked the effect. I tried to give the windows a multidimensional effect by gluing the decal to the window pane, applying the decal to the window sill and gluing the decal to the outer cellophane layer. I then added a border to hide the tape and the edges of the cellophane. The cellophane also helped giving the room a blue hue and giving it an underwater feel. Unfortunately it's very difficult to get a good picture of a window with a mobile phone, but I hope the photos I've attached give you an idea of what it looked like. Personally it was much better.
