Depending on what you use these jugs for, they get terribly dirty. Also, if you use a plastic spoon to stir them, they'll scratch, making the discoloration more visible. However, my main complaint is that they have become less durable over the years. I used to buy these pitchers and they were made out of much thicker plastic. Now the lids are so flimsy and break so easily. Just the usual movement of opening the lid breaks the lid. Mine don't live very long. Attached is a photo of what my eyelids look like. They are no longer used in my kitchen. Now they're used outside to carry water back and forth when gardening or flushing soda off the patio, that sort of thing. I'm currently trying to find a good glass jug or something to replace it. I'm really unsatisfied with the time they last, 2 months maybe 3. It's time to move on and find a new product.
