Not designed for 1 1/4 " receiver

I need to mark this as "2" because I have a 1 1/4" receiver and it is for a 2" -Receiver is.I bought an adapter for it but it was sticking out almost 2ft from my bumper so greatly reduced the weight I could put on the post.I reordered the hitch specifically for my car and have faith in it that it will work much better Quality and Integrity The stand was great there no blemishes or defects I am sure if I had a 2" receiver this stand would suit my needs very well.
