I had a root tooth removed which soon developed a dry socket. If you don't know what a dry socket is, just know that it's VERY painful! So much so that the mint-flavored toothpaste hurt. So I decided to search for minty and flavorless toothpaste and found this one. Now you have to get used to it. It does NOT foam like regular toothpaste and therefore feels like you are brushing your teeth with water as there is no flavor either. However, be sure if you show your teeth in the mirror, you will see that the toothpaste is doing its job there. It just seems weird because, to me at least, it's literally like touching water. But that's exactly what you can expect from a toothpaste without taste and foam. So just keep that in mind. I chose this paste because of the fluoride. I myself am very prone to tooth decay, so I use fluoride toothpaste and fluoride mouthwash. Other brands didn't offer fluoride, so it was nice to find an unflavored fluoride toothpaste. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for an unscented toothpaste that still contains fluoride.
