Fried 2 turkeys, baked a pie, fried 3 chickens before the problems started. needs to be set about 15 to 30 degrees lower as it seems to be cooking hotter than it should. Problem: fries. increase with each use. I have cooked the turkey twice and can no longer use it as a turkey roaster. :( I use it as an oven for other meat and baked goods by using a food casserole dish and placing it directly in the Oster Roster oven roaster. A tip on this: use a metal casserole dish between the baking sheet and the baking sheet, otherwise your baking sheets will crack , break or explode.The same could be done with a brazier and there would be no spalling problems.
