I had high hopes for this product, the description actually says 'wood' and the price seemed to reflect that. When I received them there was a slight plastic/ammonia smell when I opened the package. When I took the spoons out of the box, I noticed that they were very light. They literally resemble polystyrene foam painted over with stain. An ordinary household metal spoon weighs more. I can assure you that on a windy day this spoon would definitely fly away like poop in the wind. The wood stain also disappears in the wash, not sure if it's just for decoration? Or actually meant to eat.
