**UPDATE**just installed the last 3 of 10 pulls.i spoke too soon when i said they were machined well. i drilled holes the proper distance apart and couldn't figure out why the screw holes were off - and it's because the last 3 pulls needed a distance of 7 5/8", NOT 7 1/2". VERY aggravating!i should have known for the price, but tried them anyway. one of the 7" spread handles weighs 1/3 as much as a solid brushed nickel that's half the size. they MIGHT have a very thin coat of stainless steel over the very lightweight (zinc maybe) structure.PROS: definitely cost. a solid handle this size should have cost me at $10-$15 each, and these were less than $2. each handle was machined exactly like the rest, making install a breeze. packaged individually very well, with 2 screw lengths included. hard to tell they're cheezy until you inspect closely.CONS: cheap feel. lightweight. i could probably bend these with just my old, wrinkly hands. after a test fit, i had to take off the handles, and the screws stayed connected to the piece that holds the long handle to the small mounts. took vise grips to get the screws out. then trying to connect the mount to the handle went badly; stripped 2 screws because the threads are so soft. very annoying.since i needed 10 for a project, i decided to try these for the rolling utility cabinets i'm building. i MIGHT buy them again, for a project that gets light duty, but i wouldn't buy for a nicer project or one that's used often. i recommend making SURE your screws are a bit on the short side so they aren't fully seated in the mounts.
