Haflingers are the best shoes for sick or unhealthy feet. Very helpful. I have had at least 8 pairs in over 10 years and still have my first pair. Use them for garden shoes now, they have holes but fit my feet perfectly. The ones with a cork sole are the only option as this material molds to your feet. They have so many types of shoes even sandals and work shoes. For other shoes I usually need a size 7.5, for halflings I wear a size 7. The toe is wide and comfortable. I would say they have average arch support. Life changes for people with aching feet. But these particular shoes, intended as a Christmas present, were "lost" at the USPS for over a month, so pay attention to the seller's shipping method.
