Review on 🔌 Boost Your Connections with 3M Performance Plus Wire Connector by Josh Dyer

I was introduced to these 3M wire nuts by a professional electrician that I hired. These are by far the best wire nuts I have ever used. They can handle a variety of wire sizes and conductor counts. My understanding is that the helix in them has room to expand, allowing them to work with that size range. I showed them to a friend tonight and decided to show him how they were built by cutting them apart. This resulted in me damaging the wire cutter and not being able to successfully cut the wire nut! These things are solid steel! So in the attached picture on the left is a 3M wire nut, an Ideal wire nut in the middle and a cheap piece of junk that came with the light on the right. (both last ones I dug out of the bottom of my tool bag from previous work so can't tell if this perfect wire nut is modern or not).
