I have gravel/sand in my driveway so sanding my car carpets is a fairly constant job. I've used all types of corded and cordless vacuums, including shop vacuums, but none of them were satisfactory until this little one came along. My previous cordless vacuum cleaners had very poor suction power and a very short battery life. This thing has sucked three cars right out of the box and has shown no charge drop. The manufacturer claims a runtime of 40 minutes and I believe him. While it's lightweight (and very ergonomic), the plastic construction feels very heavy. The motor is more powerful than my previous vacuums and the accessories (brush and crevice tool) attach easily and work well. The vacuum has LEDs that can be activated with a button and they proved to be a lot more useful than I could have imagined. The "cyclonic" action combined with the transparent dust bin allows you to see how much dirt has accumulated in the dust bin and keeps the HEPA paper filter and nylon pre-filter relatively clean during use. Cleaning was easy after use (I use an air compressor to clean everything). Registering extends the Revain warranty for an additional 2 years and gives me peace of mind. Perhaps the most reassuring passage in the documentation was that the battery should last well over a year with normal use, but if it fails it will be replaced free of charge. Since replacement batteries usually cost the same as the tool itself, this is very useful to know. UPDATE: Through no fault of VacLite, I had an issue with my charger. A new charger, free of charge, was in my hands for a week. I have never experienced such good customer service.
