This is my second of these sets and I have ordered two more. I really liked the stitches with this set because they are NOT cross stitched. I find it much more fun and exciting to use regular embroidery stitches. I am working on this piece while waiting in doctor's offices (I bring elderly people to doctor's appointments) and I find it a great conversation starter with other people in the waiting room, many people have fond memories of family members who have also embroidered. Framed with a light frame it is beautiful. I usually sew the stitches thicker than necessary so I may have to buy more thread, but this adds dimension to the pattern and makes it more personal. You will find that you can also have fun in your free time with this very inexpensive, fun and beautiful embroidery.
