I finally caved to buy a desk for remote work indefinitely. I wanted and affordable L-Shaped desk so that I had room to write as well. I read the reviews and a lot of them said that the holes didn’t align. I ran into this issue once and ultimately it was my error for connecting the piece incorrectly. I did a 180 and everything fit perfectly! I am assuming that other reviewers that said they didn’t align may have also made some errors. I did take the advice of other reviews and left everything loose and tightened bolts at the end. It took me about an hour and that was also while caring for my newborn. I recommend the desk for someone who is seeking something affordable and functional rather than high end furniture. Note the filing cabinet does not come with the desk, it is an old flimsy one I had previously.
