Review on Intel Core i7-8700K: Unleash the Power of 6 Cores, Turbo Boost up to 4.7GHz – Perfect for LGA1151 300 Series Desktops! by Jnis Uptis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

I really like the performance, in games it's faster than the ryzen 1800x - the last one I used for two months, so I can say so. It is not clear how the temperature sensors work, the data is given out feverishly, even in idle time they can indicate 70 degrees, while in downloads up to seventy it may not bounce. I put the cooler with a 4-pin fan on the car, and the disco began, the speed changes from minimum to maximum every couple of seconds, both under load and idle. I noticed when the monitoring indicates a load of 55 degrees, if you touch the cooler at the pprocessor, it feels 35 degrees. In this regard, the rizen is cooler.

Pros
  • Productive, six sound, twelve stream
Cons
  • Price, chipset, thermal interface
