so far they are amazing. I have two, one for 5 years, the other for 2 years. I don't know what my 5 year old son was expecting but he always remembers that they are not flexible. I think he was expecting some kind of putty. BUT he likes that they fit and belong to him. My 2 year old daughter goes crazy when the sun hits her eyes while we are in the car. We just bought a pair of sunglasses but it's not that much. This is perfect for her and I've even bought a few similar ones. She likes being like her mother. You have a curve, but not crazy. So when a kid does such a big stretch to put on their face, it works great. If they break, I'll buy them again.
