Review on 📷 Rohent R12: High-Def Wireless Backup Camera for RV HD 1080P | 7 Inch Touch Key DVR Monitor | IP69 Waterproof | Easy RV/truck Compatibility by Scott Gamache

I mounted this camera on the back of a 37ft fifth wheel with no signal booster. It worked great on a recent 5 hour 300 mile ride. I noticed two momentary signal interruptions that caused the screen to go black for about a second; I noticed that the antenna on the back of the display was a bit loose and I tightened it and there were no more issues; I suspect it was just a weakened antenna. The video has a moderately low frame rate so you won't get smooth TV video when driving at high speeds, but it's perfectly sharp and usable. This is not noticeable when maneuvering at low speed or in reverse gear. The display is bright and slightly oversaturated, producing vibrant colors that help you see detail. The night display is black and white (greyscale) and a bit grainier, but still suitable for parking. I didn't use it at night on the track. Installation was pretty easy as my RV came pre-wired with the camera; The power connector on the camera didn't match my wires so I had to cut it off and solder it directly into the wires. The included splice connectors also didn't work with my wires, probably due to the significantly different wire sizes, so I just stripped them and plugged them straight in. Overall, I think it's great value for money and I'm happy with the purchase.
