Haven't tested it at the water park yet (which was reason for buying) but both my daughters have worn them around the house, running and playing and report that they feel good. They are also great for outdoor water play, they can even be worn in the park and regular summer play which is what I love the most. Don't waste money on shoes for just one purpose! My only complaint is that the sizing is a bit odd, my youngest daughter needed a larger size than her usual shoe size and my older daughter needed a smaller one. In addition, the ankle hole is very large, which makes it impossible to increase them (otherwise they will slip on the heel). I had to buy 3 sizes each,
