Not bad, but I'll probably buy something more expensive later.

I was pleased that it was easy to register a warranty through an app I didn't even know existed. However, the warranty registration does not work. The way you open the trimmer is weird because you have to position your hand so your thumb touches the power button to open the trimmer without blocking it with your finger. It came with almost no battery. It wasn't entirely clear how to connect everything until I found something to connect the cable from the wall to the side charging dock. I also didn't realize it was going to be a separate charging station and cleaning station. I liked the convenience of my previous ones where I just stick the razor in and everything happens based on the buttons I press. Maybe this is useful because I can have the cleaner anywhere and have to pinch something to replace the cleaning liquid, but that's rarely necessary and this method takes up more space on your desk. After 1 shave he said I had 2 shaves. There is no way to view or delete shaves. Due to the design of the rounded triple heads, it is difficult to trim the hair on the sides where it attaches to the head hair. Haven't found a way to adjust it. I have to reach for the clippers without protection. It would be nice if you could control the speed manually. The date in the Philips app is reversed. I tried shaving again and when I opened the app nothing updated. Because the idea behind the app is that every time you shave, you have to take your phone with you, open the app, press buttons and go through menus and so on. So I do that and try shaving again just to see what he says because the lap score seemed inaccurate the first time. I made sure to shave in circular motions the whole time and even if there were some bumps in certain areas of my face, if not 100% it had to be at least 90+. However, he said 71%. He also claimed that my embarrassment lasted over 3 minutes when in reality it was around 2 minutes. Based on this information and the information from the day before, the app seems basically pointless. I'll probably buy a regular razor in the future that isn't designed for circular use, which is a higher level. My old razor broke so I bought this to replace it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine
