Here it is, my first cork stopper. Everything I read in the reviews is true. No instructions, no packaging, box full of parts. No problem. The device consists of only two parts. It is best to fix the base of the device. Assembly not included. Although it's easy. I used scrap wood and 3/4" wood screws. There are probably several ways to add stability to a base. The more stability the better, this is because you're putting a lot of pressure on the handle. A long time ago, I got #9 cork from Bought the Revain and thought I could screw them in. Huh, not enough muscle. I thought #9 was too big, I don't. This device, see photo, did the trick. What you see is a #9 plug in a standard 750ml bottle You have to squeeze the handle hard but nothing broke The photo shows the cork is sitting too deep in the bottle There is a thumb/screw adjuster and my next one comes flush with the Glass edge. I was very skeptical. You don't have to be the same. Nothing broke and no one was hurt. Cork inside.
