The 1Zpresso JX series manual coffee grinder that I received was unfortunately defective. The lower grinder did not close properly when the grinder knob was tightened, even when fully tightened. Too bad, because the material and workmanship were solid. The grinding mechanism was smooth and the grinding was fast. It's a pity that the cut was only coarse and couldn't be adjusted differently. Update 7/2/2020: Although the grinder I received was faulty, the customer service I received when I contacted 1Zpresso was amazing. The engineers were able to pinpoint the problem with the coffee grinder. The circlips on the shaft were missing. After expressing dissatisfaction with the JX, 1Zpresso recommended I try the JX-pro. I bought it directly from 1Zpresso on February 5th and received it today, February 7th, shipped from Taiwan! The JX-Pro definitely feels more premium and the adjustment knob offers a much wider range of settings to fine-tune the grind. I highly recommend the JX-Pro JX grinder. The build quality is amazing. I love that I can adjust the grind level at the top of the grinder instead of at the bottom.
