Saved my vacation! - Braces, splints and bandages

I'm not even back from vacation but I had to give a quick review. This device saved my vacation. I was worried about walking a lot on stone and concrete in Italy. When I'm on my feet a lot, my lower back/sacroiliac joint is killing me. In fact, on my first day in Rome I went out all day without it and was ready to book a flight home that evening, it hurt so bad. The next day I put the belt on and it made a big difference. Days went by and I realized that the last thing on my mind was my back! (My ankles are a different story, but they can be dealt with.) I wore it over underwear and under capris. It was a little tricky to learn how to take it off and put it back on during bathroom breaks, but it went quickly with practice. love love love If only I could find something similar for my ankles. ;) Addendum, now that I'm home: - On the advice of others, I bought a large one. Since my hips are right on the low end of this size, I think I can get away with medium. I often felt like I was tightening it all the way, but luckily it was enough for my needs. If you wear this like I do - under pants but over underwear - don't wear tight panties. Wear full panties as the edges can chafe against the skin after a while. Besides wearing them while walking, I wore them on the plane on the way home and noticed that not only did the plane seats not give me such a backache. , I also didn't have my usual restless legs symptoms that I usually feel in my legs and feet after a few hours of flying.
