I wanted to shade my tent because it seems like when I camp in unconnected state parks I get a sunspot on the RV. I ordered the site. to match my 10'x16'3" awning. However, I don't always intend to use them together. Sometimes you just need to block the sun on one side. This shade is a heavy mesh material. It can be folded in a number of ways attach to the camper but these include bungee hooks and cords and small grommets that fit into a groove the canopy is attached to.If you don't have one they also include some hooks that you can attach permanently if you wish ". There are grommets on the underside for bungee cords to attach. Bungie cords then attach to stakes driven into the ground. This allows the bungee to stretch with a slight gust of wind and relieves the cap. We had a slight one breeze and it worked fine if i wanted the screen could be rolled up and fixed with straps sewn in. the only issue i have is that you have to take it off when you use your ner want to roll Venkitzel (I do it at night). No big deal, it's easy to do. The pegs provided are flimsy and I broke mine fairly easily. I used the metals that were on hand. I would recommend that you only buy higher quality bets. The umbrella folds neatly and fits into the included bag, which I will stow in the camper. One thing I would like to point out is that the fabric material is not lightweight, it adds weight and wind loading to your awning. Make sure your awning is designed for this.
